Lunch and Learn - RDS MRF tour

Please join us for a VRA Lunch and Learn opportunity to see how RDS has incorporated robotic technology into their single stream materials recovery facility. In an effort to improve quality control, robots sort out contamination by the guidance of cameras and computer systems. These robots are programmed to recognize specific objects and move their arms over the moving conveyor belt until they reach their target and remove objects that they place into the appropriate bins.

Cost: $25 VRA members, $45 non-members

Notes: There is plenty of parking in the lot beside the building. PPE will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own eye protection and safety vest.
